Vietnam: Hanoi airport may require baggage handlers to wear cameras to curb theft.
The Northern Airport Authority plans to make baggage handlers at the Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi wear cameras in an effort to curb baggage theft. News website VnExpress quoted Tran Hoai Phuong, the authority’s director, as saying that the new measure will help control baggage thefts by monitoring activities of handlers. CAAV director Lai Xuan Thanh said there were 292 complaints about luggage thefts in the first nine months of this year. More information here:
