USA, Philadelphia: CBS reports a whistleblower claiming widespread luggage theft at Philadelphia International Airport was threatened by co-workers and arrested.
CBS reports that a whistleblower at Philadelphia International Airport complaining of widespread luggage theft by staff was initially ignored by management staff at the airport. Subsequently, the whistleblower was threatened by co-workers who openly dealt with stolen property within airport service areas. The whistleblower was eventually arrested in an unrelated police investigation, but exonerated of all charges by a judge based on the preceding complaints he had made and an inability of the prosecution to prove the case against him. The whistleblower describes a culture of criminality within Philadelphia International Airport.
