Sweden: Stockholm Airport bomb threat after 'explosive' substance found in luggage.
A bomb squad has been drafted in to investigate the suspect baggage, which was discovered this morning at Stockholm's Skavsta Airport, in Sweden. The departures terminal and baggage reclaim area have been cordoned off, although arriving flights have not been affected. An elderly woman is believed to own the luggage, according to reports. The drama unfolded after the alarm was raised today when the bag went through security. Local media said that the suspicious powder was found in a woman's handbag at the small Skavsta Airport, 100 kilometers (60 miles) southwest of the capital, Stockholm.
A police spokesperson said: "The bag in question belongs to an elderly lady and she is cooperating with us.
"She says she doesn't know how the powder got on her bag.
"There are no known threats to the airport and we have no reason not to trust the person in question."
