Dubai: Airport porter imprisoned and ordered deported for luggage theft.
DUBAI: An airport porter who said he scoured passengers’ baggage for food will be deported after a three-month imprisonment, the Appeals Court has ruled. The Asian man AT, 23, committed several theft attempts while on duty at the Dubai Airport where he was working under a security services provider, airport records showed. At around 12.30pm an airline officer spotted AT on a national airline’s cargo area’s surveillance cameras opening and searching bags for valuables to steal. He summoned cops to nab him.
